Our Story
“ I remember my first job in America. I took care of a special lady named Margaret. I worked as a live in caregiver. For a few days that I was with her, I noticed she always have trouble sleeping. As I have observed her routines, and got to know her better, I have worked around on ways how to improve her sleep, introduced simple changes in her routine and achieved our goal in just a few days time and she slept more than 12 hours every night! Her son Bill who visits her weekly was very happy and most of all - Margaret. She treated me like her own family and I still remembered to this day her pride and her smile while she introduce me to her friends and family back then. We had a great relationship. Helping her ( for 8 months ) was one of the most rewarding job I have ever done in my life. Getting her up, giving her sponge bath, choosing her clothes to wear, reminding her medication, preparing her meal, having joyful conversation with her, etc. Too bad I have to leave her after I passed my NCLEX RN exam but the memories we shared together as her caregiver and her family lives in my memories to this day. She passed away 8 months after I left in 2000. "
